My favorites of 2008...

Favorite movie- Actually I think High School Musical 3 was my favorite. I can listen to that music all the friggin time. And smile cheesily all the while. I guess I can also do that with Mamma Mia. But I've been jammin to those tunes since birth. I also really liked Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Krystal Skull.

Favorite place to hate where I ate- I don't get out much... So... I'd say... Applebee's. I'm not their biggest
fan.

I don't think that their food is worth the price.

Favorite baked good-
Chelcie made some brownies a while back. Mmmmm....

Favorite newly discovered in 2008 t.v. show
- CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE CHUCK. I'm so sad that I refused to watch when it first started. But now I love it. I think only those who know what's going on in the show fully get the humor. They know the personalities of everyone.
I love the ever so many funny quotes...
Casey: This is how this is gonna work. I'm gonna go over there, rescue Sarah, capture Dr. Zarnow, shoot anybody who gets in my way. You, you're gonna stay in the car.
Chuck: So in this plan I basically do nothing?
Casey: Yup.
Chuck: Let's do this.

Lester: I really just want to say pineapple a few times.
Jeff: Pineapples are fun, my dad used to throw them at me.

Chuck: [voiceover] That's Sarah. She works for the CIA. Believe me...I know. That's Casey. He works for the NSA. He's not as pretty.

  • Chuck: If I had a blog this would be a really big day for me. Do my laundry- check. Save my sisters life- check. Save my own life... final entry.

  • Chuck: How many guys can say they landed a helicopter, saved the lives of innocent people...
Casey: Couragious and honorable members of the United States military.
    Okay that's all with that....

Favorite rediscovered food: Corn Dogs. Mmmmm....

Favorite event: Um... When Jaxx and Tiley were born. I love to squeeze the little squishies.... Yeah... that's a good time...

    Favorite waste of time
: Playing Computer Games, but that has been my favorite waste of time for tlike three years...

Favorite book: The Twilight Series. I LIKE NEW MOON!

Favorite change in the norm: .... Well.... I'm pretty boring.... Nothing has really changed....

Favorite thing that happened in the economy: I'll be honest, I don't really care... I don't have a car- I don't pay bills... Or... anything...

Favorite toilet paper: Mine is the kind that is closest to the can. I don't want to have to go searching for a specific find once my bottom meets the bowl.

There, now are you happy that you sat and listened to my boring yammering. I bet that is now your favorite waste of time.

    My Eternal Lame-ness...

Don't question... just nod your head and say, "Okay, Bonnie.

    Whyyyy?!....

Why can my health ever be good? If I don't have a cold- it's some form of stomach issues. If it's not that I have dental issues. I'm sick of it... :(

I just got over a cold and less than a week later- BAM- my stomach acts up.

I don't feel good right now. It's 3:51 in the morning and I woke up two hours ago feeling icky and a little on the vomity side.

For the past three... maybe four days I've been at Heidi's house helping her pack and I need to go tomorrow to help her move still and I feel like crap. And I left my Cherry Pepto Bismol at her house so I don't even have the comfort of that.
We have the Wal-mart brand of Malox but it is not helping me.

I went to WebMD to see if I could narrow down my problem...
Yeah it gave me a list of fourteen things it could be and almost everyone of them had the same symptoms so I'm no closer to finding out what my problem is than when I started.  I just hope it's not a horrible disease I will meet my demise from. That would suck...

      I  DON'T FEEL GOOD!

I was told by Mother to drink vinegar but I have a very sensitive gag reflex.

But the smell, the taste, the fact that it looks like pee pee-... *sigh* I know that it will make me vomit.

I wish I knew the secret. The secret that would make my stomach feel better without making me want to gag. Anyone have any secret remedies they want to share?

The Classics- I'm looking into why...

I rent movies that came out last week, last year, a decade ago and even in some cases five or six decades ago. Some of them I find totally sweet- others… not so much.
I recently got my hands on a copy of 1984’s Footloose…. I am quite annoyed that they would find this movie good enough to do a remake…. Then again- maybe they think it sucks so bad that they should remake it for that purpose. It had it’s moments (few and far between) that made me smile. But that’s all I’ll give it.

The Last Days of Pompeii. When you read that title you think volcanoes, chaos, ash and smoke- all around peril. That is not what you get. Sure it came out in 1935 so you won’t get the wonderful graphics as said in movies like… I dunno… Dante’s Peak? Anyways- literally the last four- maybe five minutes is the actual volcano eruption and it’s… lame… lame… lame…

I borrowed 1998’s Can’t Hardly Wait with Ethan Embry and Jennifer Love Hewitt… I remember Melani loved it and I didn’t want to see it because… well the cover didn’t exactly make me feel comfortable… and she recently asked me if I had seen it. (Peter Facinelli- Carlisle- Mike Dexter- ya know..) Anyways… Every once in a while I will come across a movie about a teenage party and think it’s awesome and sometimes I won’t… This one sit right in the middle. I didn’t “Oh I love this movie I need a copy,” but should I ever find it on DVD for seven bucks and I happen to have seven bucks- I just might buy it.
(Though when it comes to teenage party movies and Peter Facinelli- I’d rather watch Riding in Cars With Boys. Sure that is not completely focused on a teenage party but the very basis of the movie starts there.:)

And last- but not least on my recent movie rentals- 1980’s My Bodyguard. Holy heckler. I wish I owned that movie.
A kid named, Clifford Peache, hires another kid, named Ricky Linderman, who’s a foot or more taller than him, to be his bodyguard- from a small group of bully’s that are trying to force him to pay them protection money against the very person who becomes his bodyguard. It makes me happy.
Ricky Linderman (the bodyguard) is played by Adam Baldwin when he was just a kid. You know… Adam Baldwin… No? Well if you don’t know- he’s not one of the Baldwin brothers- thank goodness. He’s the guy who always plays a nice, calm, un-violent and happy guy in everything… No? Well, in case you really don’t know who he is, He plays John Casey on the NBC series Chuck, Jayne in the canceled FOX series Firefly, The abusive step-dad in Radio Flyer- though you never actually see his face. Captain Wilkins- the Royalist traitor in the Patriot… Major Mitchell in Independence Day- you know, the guy who shot the can off the Ship... If you don’t know who he is still… You should watch more movies. But I am a huge fan of him.

Anyways- I think- I’m not positive- But I think that they got the general story for Drillbit Taylor from this movie. In Fact in the scene of Drillbit when the kids are interviewing guys to be their bodyguard, Adam Baldwin is one of them- wearing a similar- if not the same jacket that he wears as Linderman. The only thing he says is something like, “Kids hiring a bodyguard to take care of a bully? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.” Hee hee… Good times… good times…
And Joan Cusack is in it… and Martin Mull… And…. Hmm… Matt Dillon is, but I’ve never actually seen anything else with him in it…. I need something else to put on my queue for blockbuster…
