My favorites of 2008...

Favorite movie- Actually I think High School Musical 3 was my favorite. I can listen to that music all the friggin time. And smile cheesily all the while. I guess I can also do that with Mamma Mia. But I've been jammin to those tunes since birth. I also really liked Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Krystal Skull.

Favorite place to hate where I ate- I don't get out much... So... I'd say... Applebee's. I'm not their biggest
fan.

I don't think that their food is worth the price.

Favorite baked good-
Chelcie made some brownies a while back. Mmmmm....

Favorite newly discovered in 2008 t.v. show
- CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE CHUCK. I'm so sad that I refused to watch when it first started. But now I love it. I think only those who know what's going on in the show fully get the humor. They know the personalities of everyone.
I love the ever so many funny quotes...
Casey: This is how this is gonna work. I'm gonna go over there, rescue Sarah, capture Dr. Zarnow, shoot anybody who gets in my way. You, you're gonna stay in the car.
Chuck: So in this plan I basically do nothing?
Casey: Yup.
Chuck: Let's do this.

Lester: I really just want to say pineapple a few times.
Jeff: Pineapples are fun, my dad used to throw them at me.

Chuck: [voiceover] That's Sarah. She works for the CIA. Believe me...I know. That's Casey. He works for the NSA. He's not as pretty.

  • Chuck: If I had a blog this would be a really big day for me. Do my laundry- check. Save my sisters life- check. Save my own life... final entry.

  • Chuck: How many guys can say they landed a helicopter, saved the lives of innocent people...
Casey: Couragious and honorable members of the United States military.
    Okay that's all with that....

Favorite rediscovered food: Corn Dogs. Mmmmm....

Favorite event: Um... When Jaxx and Tiley were born. I love to squeeze the little squishies.... Yeah... that's a good time...

    Favorite waste of time
: Playing Computer Games, but that has been my favorite waste of time for tlike three years...

Favorite book: The Twilight Series. I LIKE NEW MOON!

Favorite change in the norm: .... Well.... I'm pretty boring.... Nothing has really changed....

Favorite thing that happened in the economy: I'll be honest, I don't really care... I don't have a car- I don't pay bills... Or... anything...

Favorite toilet paper: Mine is the kind that is closest to the can. I don't want to have to go searching for a specific find once my bottom meets the bowl.

There, now are you happy that you sat and listened to my boring yammering. I bet that is now your favorite waste of time.

    My Eternal Lame-ness...

Don't question... just nod your head and say, "Okay, Bonnie.

    Whyyyy?!....

Why can my health ever be good? If I don't have a cold- it's some form of stomach issues. If it's not that I have dental issues. I'm sick of it... :(

I just got over a cold and less than a week later- BAM- my stomach acts up.

I don't feel good right now. It's 3:51 in the morning and I woke up two hours ago feeling icky and a little on the vomity side.

For the past three... maybe four days I've been at Heidi's house helping her pack and I need to go tomorrow to help her move still and I feel like crap. And I left my Cherry Pepto Bismol at her house so I don't even have the comfort of that.
We have the Wal-mart brand of Malox but it is not helping me.

I went to WebMD to see if I could narrow down my problem...
Yeah it gave me a list of fourteen things it could be and almost everyone of them had the same symptoms so I'm no closer to finding out what my problem is than when I started.  I just hope it's not a horrible disease I will meet my demise from. That would suck...

      I  DON'T FEEL GOOD!

I was told by Mother to drink vinegar but I have a very sensitive gag reflex.

But the smell, the taste, the fact that it looks like pee pee-... *sigh* I know that it will make me vomit.

I wish I knew the secret. The secret that would make my stomach feel better without making me want to gag. Anyone have any secret remedies they want to share?

The Classics- I'm looking into why...

I rent movies that came out last week, last year, a decade ago and even in some cases five or six decades ago. Some of them I find totally sweet- others… not so much.
I recently got my hands on a copy of 1984’s Footloose…. I am quite annoyed that they would find this movie good enough to do a remake…. Then again- maybe they think it sucks so bad that they should remake it for that purpose. It had it’s moments (few and far between) that made me smile. But that’s all I’ll give it.

The Last Days of Pompeii. When you read that title you think volcanoes, chaos, ash and smoke- all around peril. That is not what you get. Sure it came out in 1935 so you won’t get the wonderful graphics as said in movies like… I dunno… Dante’s Peak? Anyways- literally the last four- maybe five minutes is the actual volcano eruption and it’s… lame… lame… lame…

I borrowed 1998’s Can’t Hardly Wait with Ethan Embry and Jennifer Love Hewitt… I remember Melani loved it and I didn’t want to see it because… well the cover didn’t exactly make me feel comfortable… and she recently asked me if I had seen it. (Peter Facinelli- Carlisle- Mike Dexter- ya know..) Anyways… Every once in a while I will come across a movie about a teenage party and think it’s awesome and sometimes I won’t… This one sit right in the middle. I didn’t “Oh I love this movie I need a copy,” but should I ever find it on DVD for seven bucks and I happen to have seven bucks- I just might buy it.
(Though when it comes to teenage party movies and Peter Facinelli- I’d rather watch Riding in Cars With Boys. Sure that is not completely focused on a teenage party but the very basis of the movie starts there.:)

And last- but not least on my recent movie rentals- 1980’s My Bodyguard. Holy heckler. I wish I owned that movie.
A kid named, Clifford Peache, hires another kid, named Ricky Linderman, who’s a foot or more taller than him, to be his bodyguard- from a small group of bully’s that are trying to force him to pay them protection money against the very person who becomes his bodyguard. It makes me happy.
Ricky Linderman (the bodyguard) is played by Adam Baldwin when he was just a kid. You know… Adam Baldwin… No? Well if you don’t know- he’s not one of the Baldwin brothers- thank goodness. He’s the guy who always plays a nice, calm, un-violent and happy guy in everything… No? Well, in case you really don’t know who he is, He plays John Casey on the NBC series Chuck, Jayne in the canceled FOX series Firefly, The abusive step-dad in Radio Flyer- though you never actually see his face. Captain Wilkins- the Royalist traitor in the Patriot… Major Mitchell in Independence Day- you know, the guy who shot the can off the Ship... If you don’t know who he is still… You should watch more movies. But I am a huge fan of him.

Anyways- I think- I’m not positive- But I think that they got the general story for Drillbit Taylor from this movie. In Fact in the scene of Drillbit when the kids are interviewing guys to be their bodyguard, Adam Baldwin is one of them- wearing a similar- if not the same jacket that he wears as Linderman. The only thing he says is something like, “Kids hiring a bodyguard to take care of a bully? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.” Hee hee… Good times… good times…
And Joan Cusack is in it… and Martin Mull… And…. Hmm… Matt Dillon is, but I’ve never actually seen anything else with him in it…. I need something else to put on my queue for blockbuster…

I Hope the Second is Just as Sweet...

So- to those whom have known me all my life... Do you know how in the past- whenever I find a movie or and actor that I love- that's all I talk about for weeks- sometimes months? Well, I was so excited for Twilight. I almost wet my pants I was so excited- but the day before Twilight came out I didn't seem to care for it. I was even thinking about not going. I was all that excited.
And even as Tami, Chelcie and my selves were sitting in the theater- I still wasn't to thrilled. The opening dialog- nothing. But then- it happened- I was at the Cliff of Hyperventilation. I got so excited. And I smiled throughout the entire movie. By the time it was over, my face hurt because of all of the smiling and the five or ten minutes where the smile was traded in for a very concentrated look of concern.
And I found that the characters I loved in the book- I loved just as much in the movie.
Like Jacob. I was diggin' Jacob- but not in a creepy crush kind of way... even though he is pretty.
    Emmett- Hee hee....
Edward- Every female on the planet loves him... But I found him to be a little too... Angry in the movie. I don't remember him being that angry in the book.... Mm...
Carlisle- I didn't think that the dude that played him would do very good because generally- I wasn't a very big fan of him- but I think that Twilight just might have converted me....
    I liked Charlie to...:)
    Anyways....
    ....

    6 Truths Of Life

    1. You cannot touch all your teeth with your tongue..
    2. All idiots, after reading the first ‘truth’, will try it.
    3. The first truth is a lie.
    4. You are smiling now because you’re an idiot.
    5. You will soon forward this to another idiot.
    6. There is still a stupid smile on your face.
    My work here is done...........

    Neat- but totally pointless...

Grab a calculator. (you won’t be able to do this one in your Head)
    1. Key in the first four digits of your landline phone number (NOT theArea code ...)
    2. Multiply by 80
    3. Add 1
    4. Multiply by 250
    5. Add to this the last 4 digits of your phone number
    6. Add to this the last 4 digits of your phone number again.
    7. Subtract 250
    8. Divide number by 2

Do you recognize the answer ??

    I'm almost there!

So when I went to the dentist, he told me that my tooth needed a root canal- I figured as much. So in phase 1, he drilled the tooth empty, put som medicine in it and filled it with a temporary filling.
Two days after he did phase one, the tooth was free of all pain. It was wonderful. :)

Tommarow I have an appointment with him for phase 2, where he will finish the root canal.

My next concern is the cavity that I have on the otherside. I hope I can get it taken care of sooner rather than later so that I won't have to have another root canal.
But I guess I'll worry about that later... Until next time- you're never fully dressed without a smile. :D

    Bite me...

I have weak teeth. I brush once every morning, once every night and sometimes once between then. I floss with every brushing and use mouth wash.
I rarely get soda however my sugar, chocolate, candy intake... well... *blush*
But other than eating all of that delicious goodness, I take pretty good care of my teeth, yet, they hate me. They are weak, pathetic little losers. I hate them.
I have such a pain in one of my teeth it made me cry. ME! I never cry. I'm a heartless person, but the pain was too much. My tooth had a pulse. It tingled. It locked my jaw up a few times.
Oh how I longed for a heavy dose of Vicodin or something. But NO. I have none. So instead I get stuck with some Excedrin and a little tube of Orajel that I've practically used up in a day and a half.
    *poutwinesobsniffle*
Luckily, I have an appointment with Mr. Dentist Man at 10:30 this morning and he will take X-ray's to see what needs done whether it's a simple cavity that needs a filling or the wicked and dreaded Root Canal- DUN DUN DUUUUN!

Hopefully, Mr.Dude-DR. Dentist Man will be merciful and will give me a nice prescription of antibiotics and if he's super keen, a high dose of Vicoden to sooth the pain until proper action can be underway, which my original scheduled appointment is on Monday but this is an emergency so they're letting me come in today.

And here's the little cuss that's causing me pain. The top first molar on the right side.

Right where food needs to be to be properly chewed. It's putting a damper on my delicious goody intake. I have been tempted so many times to just take a pair of pliers and yank the little turd out, but no-oh... My mom won't let me. She even got angry when I asked her what I had to do to get her to hit me in the face with a hammer. Oh yes, I did.

This one also has it's issues.

And these ones have hated me in the past...

Because of the stupid-little-enamel-deficient losers in my mouth, I can't chew gum. Even though I hear someone chew gum I want to kill them, I used to love Bubblicious and the Fruit Stripe gum- or the Bubble Tape gum... Mmmm.. But I can't chew them.

I wanted to put pictures of real teeth cavities and rotting teeth but I thought for the sake of everyones nerves I'd keep it clean. Ha ha... Get it... Nerves... like in your teeth.... Keep it clean.... Keep your teeth... Okay... *cough*

Don't be like me. Don't eat sweets'. Drink lot's of milk. Brush three times a day. Floss. Use Act Restoring Mouth Wash and last but not least, be true to your teeth, or they'll be false to you.

    HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3

I am both ashamed and happy that I saw this movie. I'm ashamed because I declared it my favorite High School Musical and I am happy for the same reason. It was fun and funny and the songs and dances made me unbelievably happy. Hee hee hee. I was giddy nearly the whole time.
But I didn't want to like it. I tried not to.... :)

    Whoa- whoa-

What happened to me? Not two years ago I was completely desensitized. No movie could scare me. I could watch things most people would cringe, scream and close their eyes at. I was like that since I was like- ten. But I just got back from seeing Quarantine and I don't think I'll be able to be in the dark for a month. It freaked me out and gave me the willies. I fear the nightmares begin tonight...

    I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED

    -I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED-I'M EXCITED!

    Take me to the Shire....

I love Instrumental movie soundtracks. Everytime I listen to one I think, "I should watch this movie." And it's good backround noise.
See, if I'm reading and I put the TV on for backround noise, I give more attention to the TV.
If I put tunes with words on, I sing along and then end up reading the same sentence fifteen times.
Things like Beethoven, Bach or Mozart make me feel like I've got homework. So- generally I try to stay away from that.
So that's another reason I like the Instrumental movie soundtracks. They take me to good times.
Like the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. There are songs on there that make me wish I was a hobbit, eating non-stop and smoking a pipe. Oh to be a hobbit....
Then there are the songs that make me feel sad. I hear them and I think- "It's okay Frodo- Gandalf's not really dead." Or- something of the sort.
There are also songs that make me think I should runaway for the ORCS ARE COMING!

Titanic has some good songs. I'm not talking about Celine Dion bellowing at the top of her lungs, but nice soft ones were a woman with a hypnotic voice oohs and ahs slowly putting you to sleep.
Or good ole bagpipes. Unlike most- I love bagpipes. It's good stuff.

Aye- Braveheart- Bagpipes, drum's and flutes. Everything you need for a swell time at the pub.

Let's see... Eragon.... I'm flying through the air on the back of my dragon. I'm fighting Urgals and th Ra'zac with my loyal mentor. And- oh no- A elven princess being held captive- time to give a Shade even more power(Oops). Oh look the son of the enemy of my mentor- maybe we should skip on over to Varden together and fight, kill, and ultimatly ANNILATE the Kings soldiers, Urgals and his little minion Shade... Good job dragon rider- Good job son the the enemy of the mentor... Yep, that about sums this one up.

Stardust has such fun music. There are songs where you think of Robert De Niro dressed in drag and pirates fighting. Stars falling from the sky. Michelle Pfeiffer being a witch (what else is new?) That is what good music is made of.

I'm bored... Somebody help be out here. Give me something interesting to talk about. I re-read this post and it bored me. But... since I did it- I post it anyways and have you be bored with me.

    A Vat of Chocolate

I don't know why Tom complained. If I fell in a vat of chocolate, I wouldn't complain or want anyone to help me out.
I love chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate.
Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate.
Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate.
Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate.
Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate.
    Lalli Doodum- Lalli Doodum Day....
